Is one hour of Zumba three to four times a week good?
I bought the Zumba Total Body Transformation System DVD Set last month. I've been doing an hour three to four times a week. Other days if I feel up to it I've been doing the 20 Minutes Express DVD. A few weeks ago I was doing and hour of the gym and an hour of Zumba and I felt I was over-working myself. At this point, Zumba is more fun than the gym, so I haven't gone to the gym in a week and a half. I don't see many results right now, but i've learned that you don't always see results right away. i've noticed some in muscle.
I think one thing I need to work on is my diet. I cut out soda recently. I wasn't drinking much before in the first place, but the sugar doesn't help. I decided I am going to go on a sugar free diet and drink lots of water and not skip meals.
Do you think I will lose weight if i stick to this or should I do more?
One hour of Zumba three to four times a week is great! I do it twice a week myself. I've been doing it for a little over a year now. You still have to watch what you eat. It will help you lose weight, but mostly straightens muscles that you're not use to using. I can say that I've had a balance weight since beginning zumba. If only I could get rid of sugars too.....
