I've lost 35 pounds and currently weigh 176, but i'm stuck here. I've lost ambition to lose weight. I was doing zumba and weight watchers but had the flu recently so couldn't do anything. any tips or help? also what's a good goal I should go for I'm 5'7
Your goal should be determined by how you look and feel, not so much by the scale. Different people who are 5'7" would have different body types.
As for the plateau you're stuck on... Sometimes when you seem to be stuck, even though you're still taking in the same number of calories and burning off the same amount, it helps if you give your body a small "jolt". What you might want to try is increasing your calorie limit by about 500 - 800 calories for about a week. It's not enough to put weight back on you, but might just shake up your metabolism enough so that the following week, when you resume your normal daily intake, it will be almost like starting the diet anew.
